What’s Your Plan for Election Day?

By Marissa Luna

Only 8 days remain between you and Election Day next Tuesday (unless of course, you’re voting absentee like I am).

We’re all busy and we’ve all got a lot on our plates. That’s why it’s so important that you make a plan to vote. So, what’s your plan for Election Day?

  • What time will you go vote? Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Do you know where your polling location is? Find out here. How will you get there?
  • Have you looked at a sample ballot? You can even print it out, fill it in, and take it with you on Election Day if you want.

The upcoming election this November 4th is equally, if not more, important than the presidential election. While decisions made at the federal level might take months or years to impact us at the statewide or local level, choices made by our governor and state legislators have immediate and lasting impacts.

And remember: If you don’t vote, you can’t complain.
